Lloyds Sanderson's new album Left Phase Blue is a an album about coming home to the music of the late 60's and early 70's, a collection of songs both current and reminiscent, that remind my generation of a time when both life and music was fresh and exciting.
Radios rang to the sounds of The Rolling Stones, Beatles, CCR, Led Zeppelin and this became the sound track of my life and as I grew so did Aussie rock maturing onto Ross Wilson & Daddy Cool, AC/DC, and Cold Chisel. With this album Lloyd truly has found his voice as an artist, a fusion of classic rock, blues and R&B, that echoes his formative years and is the album that could easily have recorded in 1977, stand out tracks like the spiritually transcendent Torn and soaring Lovers Seed will leave you wondering where this man has been hiding.
